The short version: what you type stays in your browser.
What you type
Every calculation, letter and calendar file is made in your browser. Subscription names and prices, trial dates, your name and address in a letter, and your checklist ticks are never sent to Moonlit Wares or anyone else. Apart from loading the site's own files, the pages make no network requests; the one exception is the page-view count described below.
What is stored on your device
These items can be saved in your browser's local storage, only on the device you are using:
mw-subs: your subscription list, currency and sort order.mw-letter: the details you typed into a cancellation letter (name, contact details, address, company and account), so they are there next time.mw-audit: which audit checklist steps you have ticked.moonlitwares-theme: your light or dark theme choice, if you picked one.
The free-trial reminder saves nothing: the calendar file is built on the page and downloaded straight to your device. "Clear all", "Clear my details" and "Untick all" remove each tool's data; clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes everything. On a shared computer, do that when you are done.
Cookies, accounts and ads
There are none. There is no sign-up, no advertising and no tracking across other sites.
Page-view counts
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which our host Cloudflare adds to each page, to count page views. It does not use cookies or track you across sites, and it never receives what you type into the tools.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sources such as the iCalendar standard and UK and EU legislation, to sister sites and to two recommended services, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.
